The Dream Fairy

Flora, a tiny fairy no taller than a teacup, spends her nights drifting above the sleeping world with a satchel of dream dust. With honey skin, midnight-blue curls and shimmering wings, she whispers sweet dreams to every child, and her routine is calm and steady. Then one night a lonely shadow takes her satchel, and without the dust the children's sleep grows restless as nightmares spread.

Flora sets out to bring back the happy dreams and follows the shadow into the misty Valley of Nightmares. There she learns that the shadow stole the dust out of deep loneliness rather than malice. Her kind heart sees its pain, and she offers friendship instead of blame. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this gentle tale can be read on Online Masal and explores empathy, loneliness and the healing power of friendship for children aged 4-8.
