The Door Between Dreams

Emma, a girl with warm brown skin and curly black hair, lives in a yellow house at the edge of a busy town. Every night she dreams big dreams, but lately the same dream keeps returning: a wooden door standing alone in an empty field. Far away, Noah, a boy with sandy-blond hair and round glasses, dreams of the same door. Neither knows the other exists until one night they both fall asleep and find themselves standing in the same field, facing the mysterious door. Together, they open it and step into a magical world with a purple sky, two moons, and upside-down trees.

In this dream world, Emma and Noah encounter a series of challenges that require teamwork and trust. They solve a riddle from a river that flows upward, press stones in the correct order to open a path, and listen to whispering trees that guide them to a forgotten castle. Using Emma's star clip and Noah's observation skills, they unlock the castle and discover a map showing their towns are not far apart. They promise to find each other in the real world, but the dream begins to fade. They wake up remembering everything and devise a plan to connect by sharing drawings of the door.
