The Lanterns of Firefly Hollow

In Hollow Woods, a firefly community readies itself each summer to light the way for migrating insects. Flicker, a small firefly with a golden-amber glow, spends his time tinkering with dew drops and flower petals, and his cheerful friend Pip happily joins his projects. Nearby, little Luma watches the others and wishes her own light did not sputter so faintly.

When Elder Glimmer announces that the migration begins in three nights and every firefly is needed, Flicker sets out to help Luma and the other dim-lighted fireflies. His plan uses petals and dew to make tiny lanterns that catch and amplify the faintest glow. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this gentle story about ingenuity and teamwork can be read on Online Masal.
