The Castle of Feathers

High above the clouds sits a castle made of enormous enchanted feathers, where Princess Iris lives with her family. Each morning she skips along the feathery walkways, her curly black hair bouncing in two springy buns, while the wind makes the whole castle sway like a ship on a calm sea.

One breezy morning, Iris notices that the castle is losing its feathers. Her parents are too busy to help, so she takes charge and calls three clever friends: Master Plume, the wise feather-mender; Tilda Twine, strong and cheerful with her rope; and Pip, a round fluffy creature with lavender fur and tiny wings. Together they must catch the loose feathers, mend them with sky-thread, and tie the castle down before it drifts away. This tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN can be read on Online Masal.
