Theo, a young apprentice with messy black hair and an oversized teal robe, is always eager to learn magic from Master Elara. One morning he finds a dusty, untitled book on the bottom shelf of her tower. Opening it releases Pip, a tiny lavender book sprite who guards the Book of Wrong Spells. Pip explains that every spell inside goes wrong, though always in the best possible way, and Theo decides to try one.
Each attempt brings a surprising result: a flower spell creates tiny umbrellas, a light spell summons glowing butterflies, and a rain spell yields a fountain of lemonade. Rather than giving up, Theo records every outcome in his notebook and wonders why the instructions are always a little off. Pip notes that most people quit after the first wrong spell.
