The Blue Balloon

Noah lives in a small village nestled at the foot of green hills, and the morning of the village festival brings a bright blue balloon into his hands. Tied to his wrist with a red string, it accompanies him as he wanders the square, greets friends and samples sweet treats. Then a strong wind rushes through the festival and lifts him off his feet, carrying him above the rooftops.

His unexpected journey leads him over hills and rivers to a mountain village on a cliff, where Pip, a tiny giant, welcomes him warmly. Later he meets Mara, who teaches him how the singing stones call the wind, and Lumi, a glowing sprite in a floating garden. This gentle tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN follows a child through strange, friendly places and can be read on Online Masal.
