The Starship Library

In The Starship Library, young librarian Mira sets out on her first big delivery aboard a silver spaceship that brings books to children across the galaxy. With her curly black hair in two puffs and an orange satchel of rare books, she is set on reaching Planet Nimbus before the school year starts. She travels with Captain Orin, a seasoned pilot in a navy flight jacket and round glasses, and Pip, a small robot with a single amber eye.

The voyage is far from easy. Space rocks test their shields, a giant planet pushes them toward a narrow asteroid belt, and a sudden engine failure calls for quick thinking. Mira and Pip work side by side to repair the engine, showing how cooperation and perseverance carry them through each obstacle. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this tale can be read on Online Masal.
