The Silver Hedgehog

Hugo the hedgehog lives in a snug burrow beneath an old oak tree. One morning he wakes to find that his brown spines have become sparkling silver, glowing with a soft light. When Hugo follows that glow into the misty woods, he learns the light leads him toward those who need help.

First he aids Pip, a lost rabbit wearing a blue scarf, in finding her way home, and then he keeps company with Ollie, a lonely owl in spectacles. Each kind act makes his spines shine more brightly. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this gentle story follows Hugo as he meets more woodland creatures in need, including a field mouse whose food stores have scattered.
