The Royal Cloudmaker

In the kingdom of Sunnyvale, Princess Ada is known as the most curious inventor around. Wearing her goggles, tool belt and teal overalls, with her little blue bird Pip on her shoulder, she is always ready for a new challenge. When a blazing summer sun threatens the crops and the people just before the harvest celebration, Ada promises her father, King Bertram, that her latest project, a cloud-making machine, can cool everyone down.

Ada tests the machine carefully at first, but excitement gets the better of her. Turning the dial up too fast, she watches as cloud after cloud puffs out until the sky turns gray, the day grows gloomy and rain begins to fall. With the celebration only a day away, she must stop the runaway machine, calm her worried father and reassure Mrs. Plum, the royal cook, whose three hundred pies are getting soggy. This tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN follows Ada as she starts over and searches for the 'Just Right' balance, and it can be read on Online Masal.
