In a small seaside village where salt fills the air and waves sing throughout the day, eight-year-old Henry explores his Grandpa Arthur's attic and discovers a tiny lighthouse wrapped in old cloth. No larger than his palm, it has red and white stripes and a golden lantern room. Grandpa Arthur, the village lighthouse keeper for many years, explains that the little lighthouse shows the way to people who need help, but only if Henry believes in its light. Henry promises to care for it and keeps it in his coat pocket.

The next morning, Henry and his best friend Mira follow the lighthouse's beam along the seawall, and it leads them to small ways of helping others. When a thick fog later rolls in from the sea, Henry takes his satchel and Mira brings her whistle, and they step into the cold, wet fog. This gentle tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN is about courage, friendship, and quiet confidence, and it can be read on Online Masal.
