The Moonstone Rocket

Captain Luma is the youngest pilot in the galaxy at only nine years old, and her rocket, the Moonstone, runs on glowing moonstones. Her fuzzy mint-green companion Pixel keeps watch over the fuel levels with his glowing antennae. The two friends set off for the Crystal Nebula, confident and excited about what lies ahead.

Their journey soon becomes a lesson in resourcefulness when a warning beep shows that the moonstones are nearly gone and home is far away. Luma recalls what Grandpa Orin, the old mechanic, taught her about staying calm and thinking before acting, and she begins to make careful choices about power and fuel.
