The Monster's Tiny Pet

Bruno, a huge but gentle monster, lives in a cozy cave at the edge of a sunny meadow where he tends his flowers and cherishes all living things. One cool morning, he discovers a tiny mouse with a bandaged leg lying in the grass near his door. Naming the mouse Pip, Bruno carries him inside and is determined to nurse him back to health.

Caring for such a small creature proves more challenging than Bruno expects. His thick fingers fumble with a matchbox bed and a thimble chair, his hand shakes and spills Pip's tiny meals, and his big feet make the floor tremble. Day by day, Bruno practices being gentle, learning to hold Pip without squeezing, to walk softly, and to craft a little table from a twig and a chair from an acorn cap. This heartwarming tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN explores kindness, patience, and the true meaning of care. Young readers will learn that looking after someone takes practice and effort.
