The Little Tenrec

In the gentle blue light of night, a small tenrec named Tino wakes and sets off through the garden, drawn by a sweet scent he cannot place. Full of questions, he turns to the stars and a passing beetle for answers, but neither can tell him where the smell comes from. His short legs keep carrying him forward until he meets Lila, a shy mouse lemur with large amber eyes who knows the garden well and offers to guide him.

As the two walk past ferns and a sleepy pond, Tino keeps asking questions and Lila answers each one with patience. This quiet bedtime tale by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL follows a single night of gentle adventure, showing young readers how curiosity and kindness can turn a stranger into a friend. Children who like animal characters and soft night-time settings can read The Little Tenrec on Masal İzle.
