The Little Hoatzin

In the flooded forest, where trees rise from still brown water, a small hoatzin with a round fluffy body, rusty brown feathers and a bright blue face spends her days exploring. She often longs for a companion to share her adventures, and one sunny morning she meets a capybara, a large gentle creature with shaggy fur and kind eyes. The two quickly become friends and set out together along the waterways.

Passing tall trees and calm water, the hoatzin rides on the capybara's broad back, and they greet turtles sunning themselves on a log. The capybara notices how easily the hoatzin makes friends, and she answers that everyone is her friend, even a big capybara. Feeling brave together, they push through a wall of leaves and come upon a hidden, peaceful place. This heartwarming tale by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, which can be read on Masal İzle, follows their discoveries and shows how different companions can make a fine team.
