In a calm forest of tall trees and soft moss, there lives a very small dormouse with golden-brown fur, a tiny red knitted scarf and round wire spectacles. Each day he settles in a quiet corner to read his little books, and reading gives him a steady feeling of safety and happiness. Still, when he reads aloud about brave knights and distant lands, he longs for someone to share the stories with, and a soft loneliness settles over his days.
One bright morning a cheerful wren named Pip flutters down beside him, curious about the book. Pip loves to sing, and the two soon find that they can take turns sharing what they love most, stories and songs, until the sun sets. Their friendship grows into a plan for a cozy nook of moss and twigs beneath a big oak, a place to read and sing together. Written by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, this gentle tale can be read on Masal İzle.
