In the golden savanna, where the grass moves in the warm wind, a little dik-dik named Dizzy lives near a tall acacia tree. No taller than a child's knee, with tan fur, tiny black hooves and a short spiky crest, he nibbles leaves on his own and watches the other animals play. He wishes for a friend, but a passing beetle only hurries by, and he feels as small as a pebble in a wide world. Then a loud whoosh brings Hilda the hornbill down from the sky, a chatty bird with glossy black and white feathers and a long curved beak, and the two become friends at once, sharing stories of the sky and secrets of the ground.

Their friendship is soon tested when the dry season comes and the stream shrinks to a trickle. The worried animals gather to ask what they will do without water, and Hilda suggests they search together, she from high above and Dizzy by reading clues on the ground. Written by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, this gentle animal tale about courage and observation can be read on Masal İzle.
