The Little Bellmaker

In a village tucked between green hills, a curious girl named Nora visits the workshop of her grandpa Otto, a retired bellmaker whose walls hold bells of every size. One sunny morning she discovers a tiny hammer and a block of bronze and asks to craft a bell of her own. With her mustard-yellow apron on, Nora begins her first attempt under Otto's guidance.

Her earliest bell comes out lopsided and gives a dull clunk, which makes her laugh. Encouraged by Pip, her little songbird, Nora keeps practicing through the week, learning to shape metal and tune tones both high and low, starting over whenever a bell cracks. This gentle tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN follows her patience and persistence, and young readers can find it on Online Masal.
