Goblin Grizzle lives in a snug burrow beneath the old oak tree, and mischief is his favourite game. Every morning he takes his leather pouch of pebbles and sets out to hide the baker's shoes in the well and switch the signposts so that travellers lose their way. The villagers sigh at his tricks, but Grizzle only giggles and twirls his floppy red cap, never pausing to consider how his pranks affect anyone else.

Beside the village square lies Marigold's vegetable garden, tended with care by a kind old woman who grows fat carrots, leafy cabbages and plump pumpkins. When Grizzle runs to hide behind a bush after tying a rope across the path, he crashes straight through her fence and flattens the neat rows. Seeing Marigold's tears, he feels a heavy weight in his chest and cannot sleep. This gentle tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN follows Grizzle as he tries to make things right, and it can be read on Online Masal.
