On a bright Saturday, Maya takes her sketchbook and pencils and heads to the Friendship Farm, a place where animals need love and care. A friendly farmer welcomes her and invites her to help. Maya meets rabbits in a green hutch, a cream-coloured pony with a red halter, and a rusty brown hen with fluffy yellow chicks. Curious, she starts drawing the farm to remember everything she sees.
As Maya feeds the rabbits fresh greens, brushes the pony slowly, and cleans the hen house without frightening the chicks, she learns that each animal has its own needs. She writes in her sketchbook that rabbits need fresh food and clean water daily, that calm care builds trust, and that chicks must be held gently. When she notices the water bottle running low, she understands that kindness means helping every day. This tale by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL can be read on Masal İzle.
