On a small farm near the woods, a girl named Lily fills her evenings with exploration, wearing red rubber boots and carrying a green notebook. One quiet evening she finds a barn owl nesting high in the rafters of the old barn. Though she wants to learn everything about it, she recalls her teacher's advice that wild animals need space, so she watches from a distance and writes down what she sees. The tale by Çınar BİBER can be read on Masalcı Baba.

The next day Lily meets Ranger Moss, a friendly forest ranger who shows her how to observe the owl safely with binoculars and how to record its behavior. She learns the owl carries a silver band placed by scientists and has three chicks. Lily becomes a careful wildlife helper, noting nightly routines and protecting the nest from noisy children, and over the weeks she watches the chicks grow and learn to fly.
