The Fairy's Broken Crown

Princess Faye is a young fairy with shimmering, golden-veined wings, preparing for her very first royal ceremony. When Queen Marigold sets the delicate silver-and-crystal fairy crown on her head, Faye feels both small and proud, aware that the crown has carried her kingdom's joy for a hundred years. While practicing the ceremony dance with her best friend Lila, she stumbles on a root and the crown falls, shattering into silver shards and a cracked crystal flower.

Fearing she will disappoint her mother and spoil the ceremony, Faye hides the pieces and stays silent while the crown's magic slowly fades. The weight of her secret follows her through breakfast, rehearsals and sleepless nights, and her lonely attempts to mend the crown only weaken it further. Lila's steady friendship finally gives her the courage to confess. This gentle tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN is suited to young readers and to read-aloud sharing, and it can be read on Online Masal.
