In a sunny garden, a snail named Emerald takes great pride in his glossy green spiral shell, polishing it each morning with dew and greeting the roses and daisies along the path. One day a tiny green sprout appears near the top of his shell, and he decides to let it stay. By the next morning a small pink bud has opened, and soon more flowers follow, each smaller than a button, turning his shell into a little garden he tends with care.

Word of this spreads, and visitors begin to arrive, among them Pip the ladybug, Buzz the bee, a grasshopper, a beetle, a family of ants and Luna the moth. As the shell grows crowded, Emerald looks for a way for everyone to share the space, with Pip's help arranging moss, a leaf chair and shady nooks while keeping one quiet corner for himself. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this gentle tale can be read on Online Masal and explores patience, hospitality and caring for living things.
