The Artist's Talking Colors

Rosie spends sunny afternoons painting at a wooden easel in her backyard beneath a big oak tree. Wearing her paint-splattered yellow apron, she lines up her paint tubes in a neat row and prepares to paint a landscape. When she dips her brush into the bright blue paint, a tiny voice squeaks out: the blue tube can talk and has strong opinions about how the picture should look.

Green and yellow soon join in, each insisting its own color deserves to be the star. Rosie listens patiently to every wish instead of silencing them, then finds a way for each color to have a special part. This gentle tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN is suited to young readers and to adults reading aloud with them, and it can be read on Online Masal. It explores cooperation, listening to others, and the value of different perspectives.
