The Snail's Speedy Delivery

In a bright garden, a little snail named Speedy lives beneath a leafy bush. With his cream body, glossy amber shell, tiny red messenger cap and small brown satchel, he watches the other creatures race by and longs to keep up with them. One sunny morning he decides to start his own delivery service, promising that even if he is slow, he will be careful and dependable. His friend Bella the butterfly laughs at first, and a grasshopper and a cricket tease him too.

Speedy opens a tiny leaflet stand near the garden gate and takes on small jobs, delivering a seed for a mouse and a note for a ladybug. Each trip takes a long time, yet he always arrives, and the garden folk begin to notice his steady ways.
