Ollie the otter lives by a wide, winding river, wearing his red knitted scarf and carrying a green satchel. On a moonlit night, a soft rumble beneath the ground leads him through a curtain of ferns to a hidden stone station, where a sign announces the MIDNIGHT TRAIN. There he meets Tilly, an old turtle in a straw sun hat who sweeps the platform and explains that the rising river now threatens to flood the little station before the train can arrive.
Ollie wants to help but feels small beside the deep, cold water. Tilly shows him that big things get done one stone at a time, and together they build a crooked, lumpy wall as the water pushes back. This gentle tale by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK, written for young children and for adults reading aloud, can be read on Onlinemasal Com.Tr, where patience and teamwork turn an overwhelming task into something possible.
