In the middle of a bamboo forest lives Rusty, a small red panda whose fur resembles autumn leaves and who lights a little brass lantern every night. His closest companion is Pip, a tiny flying squirrel wearing an acorn-cap hat and a red scarf, who glides between branches and shares berries and secrets with him under the moon. Together, the two feel that the darkness is not so large after all.
One night, however, the forest turns strangely dark: the silver stripes of moonlight fade and the bamboo creaks in the blackness. Something is blocking the sky, so the two friends set out with the lantern to discover what it is. Their path leads past swaying stalks and dancing shadows, glowing mushrooms, a tunnel of tangled vines, a black stream and mossy rocks. This gentle nighttime tale by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL explores courage that grows from friendship, trust and teamwork, and can be read on Masal İzle.
