The Pika's Winter Party

High on a rocky mountain, a small plump pika named Pip wears his red knitted scarf and carries a brown satchel as he senses winter approaching. He dreams of holding a winter party among the rocks, complete with food, music and friends, but the preparations prove too much for one small creature. When a mountain finch called Lark offers her help, the two divide the work between them.

Pip collects seeds and berries along the rocky paths while Lark softens a little cave with moss and sings songs that warm the chilly air. As the first snowflakes drift down, their cozy party room is ready and guests are awaited.
