Rusty the raccoon lives in the green forest and enjoys cooking above all else. Wearing his small green apron and holding his wooden spoon, he collects ripe berries to prepare jams, pies and other sweet dishes. His closest friend Wally, a cheerful woodchuck with a blue neckerchief, is familiar with every tasty root and nut the forest offers.
One sunny afternoon the two friends decide their recipes should be shared rather than kept to themselves, and they begin gathering dishes for a woodland cookbook. Rabbit adds her carrot soup and Owl offers a seed-and-berry crumble, while Squirrel, Deer and little Mouse soon contribute their own favourites. With the pages filling up, Rusty and Wally plan a forest festival so everyone can taste the food, but the day before the event they find there are not enough seats for all the guests. This tale by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL explores teamwork and sharing, and can be read on Masal İzle.
