The Little Unicorn's Friend

In a gentle green valley, a little unicorn named Lily trots each day past a glowing orchard, curious about what lies beyond its fence. Her pearly coat, pastel rainbow mane and lavender tail ribbon make her stand out, yet it is a warm grey donkey named Ben, with his straw collar and tiny red flower, who becomes her companion when they step through the gate together.

Inside, the two friends gather shining pears, sweet berries and peaches, each helping in their own way, while a bespectacled owl and a rabbit in a leaf cape watch and wonder at the pair. Aysel Banu YAVUZAL tells this warm story of kindness and courage in simple language suited to early primary readers and bedtime read-alouds. The tale can be read on Masal İzle.
