On a bright Saturday morning, Sam visits an animal sanctuary with the hope of making a new friend. There he meets Dusty, an elderly donkey with a soft grey coat and a brass bell on his halter. Dusty moves slowly because his back is stiff, and the sanctuary has no comfortable places for him to rest. Moved by the old donkey's situation, Sam decides to help.

With support from Ms. Rosa, the sanctuary keeper, Sam plans and builds a peaceful garden made for older animals, with wide smooth paths, shady resting spots, and sweet grass and fragrant herbs. Along the way he learns about patience, gentleness, and respect for the elderly, and he quietly teaches a group of noisy visiting children how to approach Dusty calmly. Written by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, this gentle tale of compassion and friendship can be read on Masal İzle.
