Maya is a curious girl who loves to explore, wearing yellow rain boots and a vest with many pockets. One morning, she finds a soft golden-brown feather on the path and follows it to a big red barn, where she meets Ranger Tom, who looks after the animals. Inside the barn, Maya discovers Pip, a barn owl with a heart-shaped face and silent wings. Ranger Tom teaches Maya about barn owls, their nesting habits, and the dangers they face when trees are cut down.
Maya is inspired to help. She decides to create a guide to protect owl homes, filling her notebook with facts, drawings, and tips such as building nesting boxes and protecting old barns. With Ranger Tom's encouragement, she adds a quiz and a maze to make the guide fun and educational. Maya shares her guide with friends and at the town fair, spreading awareness about owl conservation. Through her efforts, she learns that knowledge and action can make a real difference in protecting wildlife. This heartwarming story by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL can be read on Masal İzle.
