High in the green rainforest, a little tree kangaroo with soft reddish-brown fur, a golden belly and big dark eyes lives among the leafy branches. Although he loves his home, the tall trees can feel very big and very quiet, and he often wishes for someone to share them with. Each morning he climbs to his favorite branch and looks out over the rainforest, hoping someone will stop to play.

One sunny day a fluffy cuscus with round amber eyes and a long spotted tail climbs up and invites him to leap through the trees with her. The two small friends bound through the canopy, teaching each other what they know, from balancing on a swaying vine to climbing a trunk with tiny quick steps. When the cuscus offers to show him a secret place, the little tree kangaroo feels a flutter of doubt, yet he goes anyway. This gentle picture-book story by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL explores loneliness, first friendship and the courage to try something new, and it can be read on Masal İzle.
