In the golden savanna, a young serval cub named Kito fills his days with curiosity among the tall grass that moves like a green sea. His tawny spotted fur, long springy legs, bright amber eyes and a woven grass bracelet set him apart as he wanders and watches the world around him. One morning he meets Mzuri, a magical guinea fowl with dark slate-blue polka-dotted feathers, a small red scarf edged in gold and wingtips that faintly sparkle. When Kito suggests they explore the tall grass maze together, Mzuri agrees and the two set off.
The grass soon rises above Kito's ears and every direction looks the same. Mzuri flies up to look for landmarks while Kito leaps to see what he can, yet the maze twists and turns and each path seems to end nowhere. Resting in a small clearing, they find that being lost feels less frightening with a friend nearby, and a new plan takes shape as they help each other along. This gentle animal adventure by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL can be read on Masal İzle.
