In a lush green forest, a little sifaka with silky white fur and amber-gold eyes loves to leap and spin, inviting everyone to watch him dance. One day, he meets a tiny chameleon who sits very still, his turquoise skin shifting to warm orange and yellow. The sifaka is puzzled: why would anyone choose stillness over dancing?

Yet the two become friends and begin to teach each other their ways. The sifaka shows the chameleon how to sway and curl his tail in rhythm, while the chameleon shows the sifaka how to be still and notice a butterfly on a flower or a leaf trembling in the breeze. Together they plan a forest dance for frogs, birds, butterflies and other lemurs, decorating branches with leaves and flowers. This gentle tale by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, which can be read on Masal İzle, explores how speed and slowness are simply different ways of dancing.
