On a rocky island surrounded by a wide blue sea, a little seal with soft silver-grey fur and dark speckles spends his mornings swimming through cold, sparkly water and chasing silver fish. One windy day, he rescues a puffin named Puff from a tangle of seaweed, and the two become best friends, playing hide-and-seek among the rocks, racing along the shore, and sharing stories and snacks.

Their happy days are interrupted when a storm approaches and the tall lighthouse on the cliff stays dark, its great lamp no longer shining. Seal and Puff hurry to investigate and meet an old keeper in a yellow raincoat who explains that the lamp has lost its magic and needs shiny stones from deep under the sea. Seal dives past waving seaweed and curious fish to gather the glowing stones, while Puff squeezes inside the lamp to arrange them. When the first attempt fails and the wind grows stronger, the friends keep trying, and their patience is finally rewarded. This gentle tale by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL shows young readers how cooperation and perseverance can solve problems that seem too big to handle alone. Read it on Masal İzle.
