A little saiga antelope with a soft sandy-tan coat and an oversized, trunk-like nose roams the wide green grasslands, knowing every path and sweet patch of grass by heart. One morning a steppe eagle with broad dark-brown wings lands beside him, and from this meeting a warm friendship grows: the saiga shares the softest ground routes while the eagle describes the far hills and the silver ribbon of a river beyond them.
When the herd leader says the grass is drying up and the herd must cross the grasslands to the far river, no one knows a safe route. The little saiga offers his friend's help, but the leader doubts an eagle from a different world. The eagle circles above, warning of a marsh on one side and sharp rocks on the other, as the herd moves together through a windy plain and a sudden storm. This gentle tale by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL explores trust and cooperation, and can be read on Masal İzle.
