On a quiet night, when the moon looks like a silver slice and the stars glow like tiny lanterns, a little pangolin named Pip wakes up and takes her green leaf satchel to explore. Her brown and tan scales and pale cream face catch the moonlight, and her snout twitches at a new smell drifting through the air. Following the scent, she meets Arlo, a lanky aardvark with long rabbit-like ears and a blue scarf, who is busy digging for ants. Pip is not fond of digging, but both of them love to explore, so they set off along the nighttime trail side by side.
Together the two friends follow a line of tiny footprints, sniff out sweet and earthy scents, climb a hill to count stars, and come upon a glowing flower bush where bees sleep. Behind the bush they find a small, dark hole, and Pip offers to go first while Arlo stays close behind. Written by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, this gentle tale can be read on Masal İzle and shows how curiosity and courage grow when a friend is nearby.
