Ollie, a young otter in a small blue vest and silver whistle, lives in a cozy den at a river bend and longs for company. One morning he meets Tilly, an old wise turtle with round glasses and a satchel of drawing sticks, who is searching for a place to teach drawing and storytelling. Together they choose a quiet bend with a sandy bank and a big flat rock, and they open a River School where everyone is welcome.

Their first pupils each carry a private worry: Dilly the duckling fears deep water, Ruby the rabbit grows frustrated with her wiggly lines, and Moe the mole is too shy to tell stories aloud. Ollie and Tilly never hurry anyone, finding a special way for each pupil, from a floating log on a rope to a softer drawing stick. When a storm floods the flat rock, the animals work together to move everything to higher ground. Written by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, this gentle tale can be read on Masal İzle.
