High on a sunlit mountain, a cheerful little marmot with golden-brown fur and curious eyes knows his home slope well, from warm rocks to shady nooks and patches of clover. He is always happy to share what he knows. One morning a glossy black chough with a yellow-orange beak arrives and asks where it can rest safely. The marmot leads the bird to a cozy spot behind a large rock, and the chough offers something in return: a view from above that reveals paths the marmot could never see from the ground.
From then on the two become a team, each trading the knowledge it holds best. The chough spots smooth ridges and safe routes between rocks, while the marmot shows warm hollows and dry places out of the wind. When the chough senses that cold days and snow are approaching, the friends set out to find a safe passage before the paths vanish. Written by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, this gentle tale about cooperation and kindness can be read on Masal İzle.
