The Little Kinkajou

In the warm rainforest, a little kinkajou with golden-brown fur and a cream belly spends each night climbing and exploring, eager to uncover what the forest keeps hidden. When the stars appear through the leaves, he leaps from branch to branch, steadying himself with his long curly tail.

A soft rustle one night brings him to a night monkey with a pale face and large amber eyes. She knows the trees well and offers to guide him higher, past tickling ferns and faintly glowing mushrooms, toward tiny specks of light in the distance. Written by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, this gentle bedtime tale follows the two new friends as they help one another through the dark forest. Its warm, simple language and softly glowing setting suit reading aloud to younger children or reading alone for those ready for longer stories. The tale can be read on Masal İzle.
