The Little Hedgehog Detective

In the heart of the great green forest, where mushrooms stand like tiny umbrellas, a small hedgehog named Pip lives with a passion for puzzles. Wearing his blue detective cap and red scarf, Pip is always ready to investigate, and his best friend Dot, a golden dormouse with a notebook in her green vest, is always by his side. Together they gather sweet berries by the old oak tree and store them in a leafy basket near Pip's burrow, counting each one with detective-like care.

One bright morning, the basket is empty, and the two friends set out to solve the great berry mystery. Small footprints, nut shells, and berry stains lead them past ferns, a sleepy stream, and a mossy log. Along the way, Olive, a grey-brown owl in round spectacles, reminds them that clues matter more than guesses and that kindness matters too. When the trail seems to point at a squirrel, Pip and Dot must decide whether to accuse or to keep watching. This gentle story, written by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, shows young readers how careful observation, honesty, and fair-mindedness can settle a quarrel and turn suspicion into friendship. It is well suited to children in the early primary years and can be read on Masal İzle.
