In a quiet pond at the edge of a meadow lives Finn, a small round frog with emerald-green skin, a pale yellow belly and a wide friendly smile. Finn loves exploring every corner of his home, but he dreams of being important and doing something special. One sunny morning, while diving for shiny pebbles, he finds a small golden crown half-buried in the mud. It fits perfectly on his head, and Finn is convinced he must be the king of the pond. He begins giving orders to the beetle and the minnow, enjoying the feeling of power, while his friend Dragonfly gently warns him that being king might mean more than that.
Soon the pond changes for the worse: the water grows cloudy, the lily pads are covered in old leaves, and the fish have less room to swim. Finn feels lonely and wonders why nobody listens to him. Old Turtle, wise and calm, explains that the crown marks the leader of the pond, and that a leader must care for everyone. He tells of a forgotten water kingdom that faded when its rulers forgot their duty. That night Wise Carp, guardian spirit of the kingdom, appears and teaches Finn that leadership is not about being served but about serving others.
