High in a big oak tree lives Pip, a squirrel with warm russet-orange fur, a fluffy curved tail, and big amber eyes that sparkle with questions. Pip loves to build things and keeps a tiny tool belt with a wrench and a screwdriver in a cozy hollow in the trunk. But Pip has a secret wish: not just to hop from branch to branch, but to really fly. So Pip gathers twigs, vines, soft moss, and one special acorn cap, and sets out to build a flying machine shaped just like an acorn.

The first flights do not go as planned. The acorn machine wobbles, tips sideways, and plops into a pile of leaves. New wide wings fly three whole branches before a gust of wind sends the machine into a berry bush. Then a woodpecker named Tap, wearing a thin blue scarf and carrying a small notebook, offers to help. Together they test curved wings, then stiff wings, and each crash teaches them something new. This gentle children's tale by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK follows Pip and Tap as they work side by side, and it can be read on Onlinemasal Com.Tr.
