In a snug den at the edge of the woods lives a small fox with soft russet-orange fur, large amber eyes and a cream-tipped tail. Each evening when the sun slips away, a flutter stirs in his tummy, since the darkness feels very large and he longs for a friend to share it with. One night, while he sits outside watching the round silver moon climb, a tiny light blinks in the dark and something begins to shift.
The light comes from a merry firefly, no bigger than his thumb, who asks the fox to come exploring. Step by step he follows the warm golden glow past tall trees and sleepy flowers, through a vine-covered gate, into a secret garden that shines only under the moon. There he meets night flowers, a singing stream, glowing berries and a spider's web sparkling like diamonds. Written by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, this gentle bedtime tale can be read on Masal İzle and offers a quiet way to talk about fear of the dark, friendship and growing confidence.
