Hazel the hedgehog lives in a snug burrow beneath a large oak tree and enjoys spending time in the kitchen with his grandmother, Willow. One bright morning he sets out to bake her well-known honey-berry pie, a family tradition handed down through the generations. When he looks for the special recipe card, it is missing, and his wide amber eyes fill with worry as he checks under the table, behind the flour jar and inside his straw basket without success.
Feeling low, Hazel is joined by Pip the mouse and Bramble the rabbit, who recall the pie from happy meals at Grandmother's table: the scent of cinnamon and honey, the golden flaky crust and the soft filling of berries with a touch of lemon zest. The three friends rebuild the recipe from memory and gather what they need to try baking it themselves. Written by Çınar BİBER, this gentle tale can be read on Masalcı Baba and follows their baking attempt as the burrow fills with a warm, sweet smell.
