Mia is six years old, with curly dark brown hair and a gap-toothed smile, and she loves nothing more than to help and to hug. When she carries a cream-white rabbit with long pink-lined ears into the garden in her basket, she is sure she has found a new best friend. She sets up a woven willow basket lined with a soft blue blanket in the corner of her room and promises to take care of him every single day. But her first big squeeze sends the little rabbit's ears flat and his body wiggling, and he hides under a chair.
Mia's mother explains that rabbits are shy and that sudden hugs can feel scary to a small friend, so Mia decides to learn gentler ways. She feeds the rabbit at the same time each morning, gives him a quiet corner with a cardboard box to hide in, and sits still nearby instead of grabbing him. Day by day the rabbit grows braver: he sniffs her red sneakers, nibbles a leaf from her hand, and finally hops across the floor on his own to nudge her palm. This gentle children's story by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL follows a small girl learning that trust cannot be squeezed out of anyone, and it can be read on Masal İzle.
