Mia is a curious girl who loves everything that flutters, and her yellow T-shirt, silver bat necklace and red sneakers hint at the adventures she is always ready to begin. One purple evening in her backyard, a small bat with big round ears and a tiny blue ribbon swoops over her head. She names him Pip, and while watching him wiggle his pink nose and squeak, she starts to understand something remarkable about how he makes sounds and listens for the echoes to see the world with sound.
The next morning Mia brings her notebook of bat facts to school and tells her best friend Zoe about Pip, but Zoe raises an eyebrow and thinks the story sounds made up. Mia turns to Mr. Lopez for time to show the class, and with Zoe's help she sets up a simple game with blindfolds, chairs and clapping hands so her classmates can find their way by following echoes. Written by Aysel Banu YAVUZAL, this gentle picture book can be read on Masal İzle and follows Mia as a backyard encounter becomes a lesson the whole class remembers.
