The Girl and the Brave Mouse

In this gentle tale by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK, a sunny morning turns extraordinary for Lily when she steps into her garden and finds the flowers grown taller than trees. A daisy is as large as an umbrella, and a sunflower climbs into the sky like a golden ladder. Under a giant leaf she meets Pip, a small grey mouse with big pink ears who has lost his family in this enormous, unfamiliar place and feels too frightened to search alone.

Lily offers her help, and together they move forward one small step at a time. Pip climbs a tall tulip to look around, crosses a narrow stream on a fallen leaf, and even laughs at himself when a rustling sound proves to be only a grasshopper. With each modest success he grows a little bolder, until he stops hiding in Lily's palm and begins to lead the way.
