In a cozy den at the edge of the woods lives Rusty, a little fox with bright russet-orange fur, a cream-white chest, and big amber eyes full of curiosity. Wearing a blue neckerchief and brown work goggles, Rusty spends his days building things from sticks, string, and shiny paper. One sunny morning he decides to build a rocket, and he works all day cutting cardboard tubes, taping pieces together, and fitting a shiny red nose cone until the little rocket is finished.
Rusty carries his rocket to a clear spot in the meadow, but when he presses the button on his homemade launcher, nothing happens. Again and again he tries, and each time the rocket refuses to fly. Just as he sits down in the grass feeling sad, a wise owl with speckled feathers, round golden eyes behind wire spectacles, and a mustard-yellow scarf lands nearby. She offers to look at the rocket with him, and together they begin to test it piece by piece. This gentle tale by Ebru Mina TOMURCUK can be read on Onlinemasal Com.Tr.
