In a lush green rainforest, eight-year-old Sam wanders muddy trails with his notebook, pencil and yellow rain jacket, convinced the forest holds countless secrets. On a misty morning he parts the ferns and spots a shy creature with a chocolate brown coat, black-and-white striped legs and gentle dark eyes. He sketches it quietly, offers it leaves, and slowly earns its trust, naming the animal Pip.
When Sam tells his mother about the striped-legged animal, she smiles but is not fully convinced. So he keeps returning to the same spot, noting where Pip eats, sleeps and plays, until he finally brings his mother to see the okapi herself. Together they read about these rare animals and learn their rainforest home is shrinking. Ebru Mina TOMURCUK follows a patient, curious child who trusts his own eyes, and the tale can be read on Onlinemasal Com.Tr.
